He most recently served as Managing Director and Head of Leveraged & Structured Finance at SMBC, overseeing a $10B portfolio and leading sponsor-backed transactions across M&A, LBOs and recapitalizations. A FINRA-registered Principal (Series 24, 79, 63), Chris also serves as an adjunct professor at Columbia, Fordham, Baruch and Seton Hall. He holds an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and has completed advanced studies at NYU.
Imran Jimoh is the Founding Partner of Blackhaven Capital, where he leads firm strategy and investor execution. With a background spanning capital markets, M&A and growth advisory, he brings both institutional rigor and entrepreneurial speed. Imran has advised founders, family offices and private equity-backed firms on high-impact transactions across North America and beyond.
Tristan Capes-Davis is a Strategic Advisor at Blackhaven Capital with over $4B in transaction experience across A&D, Industrials, Datacenters and Software. He currently also serves as an Investment Professional at Alpha Wave Global, focused on $300M+ equity investments. Tristan’s background spans private equity and investment banking roles at AE Industrial Partners, CSP Associates, Houlihan Lokey and B. Riley. He is a distinguished graduate of Virginia Military Institute, where he studied Business & Economics and competed in Division I Lacrosse.

A two-time founder with deep experience at firms like ivari and SafeBridge, John specializes in building high-impact referral networks and aligning capital with opportunity.
Andrew Roher brings over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, business development and sales leadership.. As Head of Real Estate Strategy at Blackhaven Capital, he leads sourcing, negotiation and execution of real asset-backed transactions. Andrew previously served as VP of Commercial Sales at Slavens & Associates and holds senior leadership roles at Drew Ventures. He specializes in identifying high-value opportunities, structuring complex deals and driving market expansion across core urban markets.
Ismael brings nearly a decade of experience driving growth for venture-backed startups, institutions and emerging sectors including edtech, Web3 and consumer brands. As Principal of Growth & Strategic Partnerships at Blackhaven Capital, he leads founder-facing initiatives, platform growth strategies and market-entry playbooks across verticals. His track record includes helping raise $2.5M in seed funding at a Techstars-backed startup, generating $3.4M in edtech revenue in 24 months and adding $13M in college enrollment applications. Ismael holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University and advises national education ministries and institutions globally.
